Happy Hellos!

My name is Anna and I'm a Pole living recently in Airdrie (near Calgary in Canada), hopeless in love with paper. Usually sitting in my studio between 8pm and midnight, if my energy lasts that long after another day with a toddler Jakob and a baby Lisa. I love to share my crafts with you, please be my guest!

Sketchy Thursday's LO, G45 with fairies and a small accident

Hello bloggers,
another LO for you to take a look at:

I used G45 with fairies. When I got the papers from my friend Wendy, I thought I will use them for my daughter only, but look at it, I also "framed" Jakob's pictures in it. By spraying the cardstock I had a small accident: small drops of the glimmer mist went on the picture and now there is a stain...I didn't have another one to replace it, so I left it. I don't think, it looks that terrible...I don't have experience with the glimmer mist (have only one color), so I need more exercise with this medium.

The LO is meant for Sketchy Thursday 8.25. Fun, fun, fun as every Thursday!

Take for your time and see you next time with the "cool dude" LO,

A good day....

....because I did something for my body: I went for a run today after a year without doing anything due to the pregnancy and other "excuses". Oh my... it's so difficult to start! But I did it! I hope, that wasn't the last time. Yeah!!!

Today I have 2 cards for you with the horizontal sketch from Moxie Fab World:

I think, the sketch is great, it stays in my archive for sure!

Have a great weekend,

Yummy G45 and some challenges: card & LO

Hello bloggers,

I am so happy, I have time for crafting. It gives me sooooo much balance after a long day! A kind of therapy-honestly!

Today I will show you a card and a LO. The card is meant for the SFYTT (August). The sketch really matches my stamp with the vintage camera. I also entered the card for JUGs #98 color challenge, which is so vintagy, particularly if you using G45 design papers. Please take a look:

The LO is also for the challenge from  JUGs #98 (I just love G45, so couldn't put away the papers) and for the Sketchy Thursday 8.18. This time Jakob and his happy face:

I hope, you enojoyed the nice colors of the yummy G45 design papers. I could sleep in them ;))))

Take care,
kANNAdyjka from South Africa

Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge - card & LO

Hello,
what a smart idea of the Waltzingmouse Design Team to provide a sketch for the card and for the LO. I made both for this challenge #61!

See you tomorrow with a LO about Jakob. As you noticed I make a LO for Lisa and next one for Jakob. It has to be fair!

Take care and thank you so much for your visit and feedback,
kANNAdyjka

Rainy day means winter in South Africa

Hello,
yes, we have winter in South Africa and that means rain, but since 2 months the temperatures were over 20 degrees. I really like such definition of winter =0)
For today I made a LO with the title "Rainy day", when Jakob discovered how much fun he can have running through puddles:

I will enter the LO for two challenges: The Play Date Cafe #94 and Sketchy Thursdays 11.8:

See you soon, hopefully!

Organizing scraps - Tuesday Trigger: Luminous Layers

Hello,
the picture from Moxie Fab World for the Tuesday Trigger Challenge motivated me to organize my scraps. Usually I prefer to scrap than organize my crafty corner, but the situation was a kind of out of control ;) I was surprise how much fun I had! You can read below, how I played with all my scraps, but at first I show you a card based on the picture from Tuesday Trigger:

And the inspiring picture from Moxie Fab World: a dress with luminous layers-a beautie!
And this picture below shows, what I did with all the scraps: now I have very interesting designer paper and in the next post I will show you cards made using the patchwork method.

Have a great weekend,

The Waltzingmouse goes on Safari!

Hello from Cape Town,

I unpack my new stamps with the theme Safari, which I bought before we left Canada! I love them! The sketch from Waltzingmouse challenge #59 was perfect to used them. Please take a look at two cards I made: I couldn't decide which one I will upload for the challenge. I think, the giraffe is so cute, that she will be entered in the contest. But you can tell, which one you prefer: giraffe or elephant!

What a great sketch, heh? I'm sure, I will use it again and again.

See you next time with the Tuesday Trigger!

Your kANNAdyjka

My girl-Lisa in the TCR Palette #70

Hello bloggers,

the time came to fall in love with pink! Since I have a daughter (6 weeks!) I will scrap more in this color. Before I didn't realize how much fun it is to play with pink! I started carefully: the last palette of The Color Room #70 made it easy for me: pink PLUS green (my fave) and peachy shade of orange (another fave) and white. I used the lovely Design Papers from G45 with fairies theme, which I got from my dear friend Wendy!
Please take a look at my fairy Lisa Marie!

I hope, You enjoyed this LO,

Back in "business"!

Hello my faithful readers!

It's official: I'm back in my studio, this time in South Africa! To get here was a bumpy adventure with all the visa issues, waiting for the arrival of the container (with my studio!) and then the bad surprise: container filled with ocean water (3 feet) and all the damage...Now the fight with the insurance started....You won't believe it, only one of my several boxes with my goodies was damaged. A kind of miracle!

Last week I was setting up my crafty corner and last night, when my both children were sleeping, I was creating after 4 months break-what a delight! I used the sketch of Card Patterns #126.
I started simple, with a set of my new stamps from MME and my new border punch from my dear stamping friend Wendy! Yummy! I hope, you like the card!

See you next time with a scrapbook page with my new daughter Lisa and The Color Room Palette!

Cheers, kANNAdyjka from Cape Town
