Happy Hellos!

My name is Anna and I'm a Pole living recently in Airdrie (near Calgary in Canada), hopeless in love with paper. Usually sitting in my studio between 8pm and midnight, if my energy lasts that long after another day with a toddler Jakob and a baby Lisa. I love to share my crafts with you, please be my guest!

Moxie Fab World challenge-mania

Hey there,

I am soooooo glad to find Moxie Fab World, so many gorgeous  pictures, so many interesting articles, and what I like mostly are their challenges: Tuesday Trigger my favorite and now the square, horizontal and vertical challenges. Cath, the editor, is full of ideas! WOW!

I play the square (although my cards are a kind of rectangle-I don't have the square envelopes to send them...=0(....) and horizonal:

The sketches for the challenges look like this. I just say: endless possibilities. I keep the sketches in my "archive" ;0)

Take care and thanks for stopping by,

The Waltzingmouse at the Play Date Cafe

Hello my dear bloggers,

please take a look at the card, which I entered for the Waltzingmouse Sketch (#64) and the Play Date Cafe (#98) challenges:

I really like, how the card turned out, particularly the background.

Have a great rest of the week,

The messy Sketchy Thursday 9.8.

Hello,

you may wonder lately about my LOs, why they are so "messy". I am experimenting a little bit with my style right now ;0)

This LO is about Jakob pretending flying our Piper. He is a little pilot already! He sees everywhere airplanes and helicopters. That's his world!

I had a lot of fun with the Sketchy Thursdays Sketch 9.8 sketch, using my fave Basic Grey design papers:

Book inspiration challenge-CAS-ual Fridays

Hi there,
my both passions are reading and scrapping/card making. Therefore I couldn't miss the challenge from CAS-ual Fridays (CFC #18), which is card inspired by a book in red, black and white. Lately I had a lot of good reads like The Help or The Water for Elephants. I had chosen the Water for Elephants as an inspiration: the main character Jacob (like my son) Jankowski of Polish origin during Depression (my favorite period in the literature).  I really like the structure of the book, which reminds me a little bit of The Stone Angel of Margaret Laurence.

Please have a look at my card. This time very simple. That's a real pleasure to make such a CAS card.Usually I spend up to 2 hours for a card. I think, I will stick with this challenge.

What is your favorite read, looking forward to see your comments,

Sketchy Thursday meets a new challenge "Bird is the word"

Hello bloggers,
as usually I'm looking for new challenges! Please don't understand me wrong, I still love my weekly challenges like Sketchy Thursday, TCR or Pencil Lines.

Today I combined 2 challenges, one of them is new and has the coolest name: "Bird is the word". Every 2 weeks you are supposed to scrap something using the key word, like love, memory etc.

I scrap a picture with my mom, sitting on her lap, when I was 2 years old......  The LO is based on Sketchy Thursday layout and the key word used is Love.
I hope, you like it:

I also promised to show you the cool dude LO. Isn't he cool? I already can imagine him as a teenager (goose bumps on my arms!!!)

Cheerio,
