Hi there,
my both passions are reading and scrapping/card making. Therefore I couldn't miss the challenge from CAS-ual Fridays (CFC #18), which is card inspired by a book in red, black and white. Lately I had a lot of good reads like The Help or The Water for Elephants. I had chosen the Water for Elephants as an inspiration: the main character Jacob (like my son) Jankowski of Polish origin during Depression (my favorite period in the literature). I really like the structure of the book, which reminds me a little bit of The Stone Angel of Margaret Laurence.
Please have a look at my card. This time very simple. That's a real pleasure to make such a CAS card.Usually I spend up to 2 hours for a card. I think, I will stick with this challenge.
What is your favorite read, looking forward to see your comments,
kANNAdyjka
A beautiful and powerful card! Great design. Thanks for playing at the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!
ReplyDeleteLike your Elephant Card. I have Polish in my background. I'm figuring you know what Pierogies are.
