Happy Hellos!

My name is Anna and I'm a Pole living recently in Airdrie (near Calgary in Canada), hopeless in love with paper. Usually sitting in my studio between 8pm and midnight, if my energy lasts that long after another day with a toddler Jakob and a baby Lisa. I love to share my crafts with you, please be my guest!

Important occasion and new challenge

Hello there!

Very important weekend is coming: our son Jakob has his 1st Birthday (May 2nd)! I just say: unbelievable how fast time flies.... Maybe you will think: Everyone is saying that, but I have to say that anyway: we can NOT imagine life without Jakob! He was meant to be OURS!

Due to this occasion let me show you a card, I prepared for him: I'm curious what he will say in few years about it, if he will like the card.....
Believe me, I was kind of nervous when I was working on this card. Of course I wanted make it most beautiful, because it's for such a important person like him and such a important occasion!

The sketch from ICS #64 helped me a lot (I confess, I flipped it a little bit).

Another challenge used for this card  Sundays with Cristy #2: Dots.Enough of them on it!

The second card is for a NEW challenge: The Shabby Tea Room. When I saw creations of the Design Team, I felt so much inspiration, that I run to my "studio" and crafted until late night yesterday (therefore I'm posting today).
The card is supposed to show what is my Comforts of Home.  I have chosen an elegant chandelier (like in the castle) as an element for my card, because my home (to be precise: mobile home =) is for me and my hubby 800sqf castle, closed to the nature. We renovated it by ourselves, even the roof was repaired with our hands-we are very happy and proud of our "castle", despite the bad reputation of mobile homes in North America....=(
I didn't use pastel colors in this card as the picture suggested, because pastels are no my strength..... My followers know that, right?
The card was also entered for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC64) as a vintage styled card.
Thanks for your visit,
