Favorite design paper(s)/Ulubione papiery (l. mnoga)

Hi there in the world,

yesterday evening I had a lot of fun with my favorite papers K&Company Blue Awning..... Did you notice how many favorite design papers I have =)))) ? I can't help it.... Seriously: K&Company are in my Top3 next to Graphic45 and Webster's Pages!

The whole evening I was working on a wedding card for our friends in Vancouver. Unfortunately we can't go to their wedding, because traveling with a baby far away for 2 days it's not that easy. Generally traveling with a baby, doesn't matter where, far or close, it's like moving an army from A to B. 

I play with this card in following challenges:

-Caardvarks (Lacy Days)

-ICS (see the sketch)

-JUG #25 (Spring Color Combo): I have to admit, I distress a lot the card, therefore the subtle spring colors are heavier than I planned, UPS... but I love distressing!

Voila, that's the result of the combined challenges:

From Jakob's world: tomorrow he will get a hair cut (by Mama), because people start to confuse him with a girl....

Hallo w wielkim swiecie,

wczoraj wieczorem mialam przyjemnosc pracowac z moimi ulubionymi papierami z K&Company Blue Awning..... Moze zauwazyliscie, ze kazde papiery sa moimi ulubionymi? No juz taka jestem.....  A teraz powaznie: K&Company sa w mojej Top3 obok Graphic45 i Webster Pages!

Caly wieczor pracowalam nad kartka slubna dla naszych przyjaciol z Vancouver. Niestety nie mozemy uczestniczyc w ich wielkim dniu, poniewaz podrozowac z maluchem tak daleko na 2 dni nie jest takie proste. Ogolnie podrozowanie z tak malym dzieckiem, daleko czy blisko, jest jak przemieszczanie sie wielkiej armii z punktu A do B.

Zameldowalam ta kartke na ponizsze wyzwania:

-Caardvarks (Lacy Days) - uzyc wstazeczki/koronki

-ICS z tym oto skeczem

-JUG #25 (kombinacja kolorow wiosennych): Musze dodac, ze "przydymilam" ostro ta kartke, no i moje kolorki wiosenne wyszly troche ciezkie niz planowalam.... UPS....Ale juz nic na to nie poradze, poprostu uwielbiam "przydymiac"!

Voila, Oto rezultat kombinacji wyzwaniowej:

Z Kubusiowego swiata: jutro bedzie scinanie wlosow (oczywiscie przeze mnie), poniewaz ludzie zaczynaja mylic Kubusia z dziewczynka....

Sweetness /Slodkosci

Hello,

I REALLY like photo inspiration challenges like this from Caardvarks, for example:

When I saw it, I knew exactly which paper I will use: Basic Grey. Well, it was not easy though, because the pastel colors are kind of my weakness. I usually like heavy, darker papers: old olive, brown, dark red. But it's called challenge, right! Then-let's craft!
I used the sketch from JUG #23 and below you can see my take of those challenges.

For me the style is almost too sweet, but it has to be, because the card is for a sweet person =).......
Her name is Clio and she is one of the 3 girls, I took care of, when I was Au-pair 13 years ago...O my Gosh..... I think, I calculated wrong....No.... that's true, 13 years ago! She is turning 15 in few days! When I came to the Au-pair family, Clio was 1,5 y.o. and we have a lot of fun together. I hope to see her soon again!
I remember as a good-bye gift she drew for me a picture with my face. On the face there were a lot of dots. I asked her what she meant with that. She said they are my pimples. And indeed: I suffered from acne many years. Children are so honest, right?

A propos children: Jakob was playing yesterday with a kitchen plastic bowl for almost an hour, giggling including. I recorded a lot of short movies. I can't believe, how kids are interested in such a simple things instead of fancy toys.  The best toys are the simplest!
