Happy Hellos!

My name is Anna and I'm a Pole living recently in Airdrie (near Calgary in Canada), hopeless in love with paper. Usually sitting in my studio between 8pm and midnight, if my energy lasts that long after another day with a toddler Jakob and a baby Lisa. I love to share my crafts with you, please be my guest!

Important occasion and new challenge

Hello there!

Very important weekend is coming: our son Jakob has his 1st Birthday (May 2nd)! I just say: unbelievable how fast time flies.... Maybe you will think: Everyone is saying that, but I have to say that anyway: we can NOT imagine life without Jakob! He was meant to be OURS!

Due to this occasion let me show you a card, I prepared for him: I'm curious what he will say in few years about it, if he will like the card.....
Believe me, I was kind of nervous when I was working on this card. Of course I wanted make it most beautiful, because it's for such a important person like him and such a important occasion!

The sketch from ICS #64 helped me a lot (I confess, I flipped it a little bit).

Another challenge used for this card  Sundays with Cristy #2: Dots.Enough of them on it!

The second card is for a NEW challenge: The Shabby Tea Room. When I saw creations of the Design Team, I felt so much inspiration, that I run to my "studio" and crafted until late night yesterday (therefore I'm posting today).
The card is supposed to show what is my Comforts of Home.  I have chosen an elegant chandelier (like in the castle) as an element for my card, because my home (to be precise: mobile home =) is for me and my hubby 800sqf castle, closed to the nature. We renovated it by ourselves, even the roof was repaired with our hands-we are very happy and proud of our "castle", despite the bad reputation of mobile homes in North America....=(
I didn't use pastel colors in this card as the picture suggested, because pastels are no my strength..... My followers know that, right?
The card was also entered for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC64) as a vintage styled card.
Thanks for your visit,

Birthday cards...again!/Znowu kartki urodzinowe...!

Hello everyone,

I'm back after the week of mourning for plain crash victims from Poland. I'm not that huge patriot (sorry...!), but in such situations, you know somehow where your roots are....

As promised you will see a lot of B'Day cards - please see the next load below:

Mhhhhhhhhhh, these dreamy Webster's Pages..........I used the ICS challenge of this week, kind of interesting...

I dared to cut the MME design papers.....I think it was worth. That's for the beginning. This card is for a very optimistic lady.

This card looks maybe a little bit autumnal, but the tree is a very important element. The person, who will receive the card is a real tree doctor and my good friend, who help me to learn English-so much FUN!!!
The last card is totally different than others. It was a order from a friend: her niece delivered a baby girl Rachel-that explains the letter R and a lot of pink=)

The picture below was my inspiration: taken during a walk in very nice spring weather and very nice company (thanks Vera!!!).

Don't forget: Candy by Lena : She celebrates her 1 year blogging. I'm so glad, I found her in the Blogland -her crafts are honey for every single pair of eyes, check this out!

Your kANNAdyjka

wrocilam na bloga po tygodniowej zalobie za ofiary katastrofy lotniczej.... Niestety wielka patriotka na codzien (sorry...!), ale w takich sytuacjach dokladnie czlowiek wie, gdzie sa jego korzenie....

Jak obiecalam ostatnim razem, zasypie Was kartkami urodzinowymi, i oto nastepne:

Bunch of Birthdays/Urodziny za urodzinami

Hi again,
The months April and May are crazy for me regarding Birthdays and Names-days (very Polish), at least dozen of them! So don't be surprised, if you see bunch of cards in the next posts. For example in this one, I will show you four of them. I can't tell, who will get them, because there is no surprise for them anymore, but I will mention, why this person is so important to me. I know, they are also reading my blog ;)

The first card goes to someone,  I love to spend time with.
The card is meant for three following challenges:
-ICS #60
-Simon Says Stamp (distressing)
-Think INK #17 (a book cover for inspiration): I have chosen "Lost memories of Jane Austen". When I bought this book, I wanted make a card matching the cover and give it to someone for B'Day.

Maybe you can see on the big picture the special effect: crackle accent on the roses. I have seen that on my blogs and as a vintage style fan I had to do it on my projects.I love it! Please see below the close up. Isn't it funky?

The next card for today will be entered for two challenges and the lucky person, who will get it, is a great listener!
-2 Sketches 4 You (to the sketch)
-Flourishes (Photo inspiration)
The design papers come from My Mind's Eye and until now I couldn't cut them, because they are soooo gorgeous! Don't you think?
The same challenges are used by making card no. 3. This Birthday card will land in hands of a person, I have worked with long time: I learned a lot from this person and my work was always appreciated!
I admire your patience for reading this long post! This is the last card for today: for a new challenge I found on Internet- Mojo Monday #132. This card will arrive in the mail box of a person, I had a lot of fun in my childhood with. When I think adventure, I have to think about him (I can say "him", because the card is very masculine as you can see):
Probably you recognize my favorite design papers Graphic45. A propos: Lena, I have something for you, guest what? Hahahaha!
Thanks for your visit and I appreciate your time,

Two important men in my life/Dwoch waznych mezczyzn w moim zyciu

Hello there,

Eleanor Roosevelt said: "The future belongs to those, who believe in the beauty of their dreams". I have such a dreamer at home-my hubby.
Maik always had a dream  to fly. As a child he built a glider, during his studies he tried to fly the real gliders and now he is almost done with his private pilot license. I decided to make a scrapbook page about his dream:

I'm using this for follwoing challenges:
-Color Throwdown # 86: Yellow, Green, Brown
-Pencil Lines #180 (to the sketch)

Another LO is about other important men in my life-Jakob. A lot of people in our families love these two pictures (me too!), so I decided to frame them in proper way. The Sketchy Colors challenge #17: white, brown, turquoise and orange helped me with the choice of design papers-Cosmo Cricket. Please take a look at Mister Funny:

Jakob's "twitter": he tries to stand on his legs, pulling himself and holding on furniture. He still looks very wobbly! At first he is very excited, but then you can see on his face, he realizes, that he has no concept what's next.... Thanks to his diaper, the landing on his bum is soft ;)

Happy Easter and enjoy your days off,
Czesc Wam,
Eleanor Roosevelt powiedziala: "Przyszlosc nalezy do tych, ktorzy wierza w piekno swoich marzen". Ja mam takiego marzyciela at home-moj Mezus.

-Color Throwdown # 86: zolty, zielony i brazowy.
-Pencil Lines #180 (do mapki)

Inne LO, ktore zrobilam w ostanich dniach jest o innym waznych mezczyznie w moim zyciu-Kubusiu.

Wesolych Swiat Wielkanocnych i delektujcie sie wolnymi dniami,
Wasza kANNAdyjka
