New challenge & WM #19/Nowe wyzwanie & WM #19

Hello,
I found a new challenge with a hilarious name: Stamping 411. I would say totally my case. When I feel down, I run to my studio and few minutes later, I'm fine: the card making is for me like finding balance after the whole day of stress, running and noise. I also found in the blog-land a blog of a card maker with the name: My Cardz, My Passion.... My Therapy. So true!

I entered this card for the new challenge of Stamping 411 with this nice sketch, perfect for X-mas mass production:

The next challenge I'm participating in, is Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #19. What I like on their sketches: you have soooooooo many possibilities.

Please take a look at other X-Mas card, which I really like, because the paper wasn't easy to work with. But when I saw the sketch, I knew immediately I will use this "difficult" paper (BTW: my favorite Graphics 45).

Teething sucks!/Zabkowanie-ciezka sprawa!

I didn't touch long time my Asia themed stamps-it's just about time to do that. I just love the portrait of the Asian woman, so distinguished....

Bardzo dlugi czas nie uzywalam moich azjatyckich stempli- najwyzsza pora! Uwielbiam poprostu ten portret Azjatki, jest taka dystyngowana...

Six the same cards, but different though..../6 takich samych a jednak innych...

I made six X-Mas cards according to The Play Date Cafe Challenge #50, which were supposed to be the same, but I decided to have more fun and made slightly differences between them.  I love this kind of mass production!

Zrobilam 6 kartek kartek swiatecznych na bazie wyzwania z The Play Date Cafe Challenge #50, ktore mialy byc takie same, a jednak w trakcie robienia zdecydowalam, ze trzeba miec troche Spassu przy masowej produkcji i kazda "z leksza" zmienilam, ale nadal maja wspolny mianownik!

Hydrangea in pink/brown-Mojo #159 & ColorThrowndown #113/Hortensja na rozowo-brazowo

Hi,

today very nice combination of pink and braun. My mom sent me the designer papers (thanks Mom!), and when I got this out off the envelope, I wanted to make a card with that immediately. My new stamp set with hydrangea jumped at once in my mind.

Dzisiaj mam dla Was kartke z przemila kombinacja kolorow: roz z brazem. Dostalam je od mojej Mamy (Dzieki!), gdy je wyciagnelam z koperty, odrazu chcialam zasiasc do stolu i uzyc ich na miejscu! Moj nowy set stempli z hortensjami (moje ulubione) odrazu przyszedl mi do glowy.

The Mojo Sketch #159 for the card with gorgeous papers from my Mom was perfect, I could really feel it.... The process of making the card went soooo smooth... I really like the feeling. I couldn't resist  to use my sewing machine. After I lubricated the machine last week, it runs now like my 18 years old Geo Metro (read: great!) =)))

The colors challenge are matching the Color Throwndown challenge #113.


Mapka Mojo #159 do kartki z tymi fajowymi papierami od Eli poprostu przemowil do mnie. Proces robienia kartki szedl jak po masle, nie zdarza sie to za czesto.... Nie moglam sie oprzec uzyc mojej maszyny do szycia. Potym jak ja naoleilam, chodzi jak moj 18-letni samochod Geo Metro (czytaj: super) =)))

The card is meant for a friend, who is an artist (www.encaustic.ca), she paints with waxes. Very interesting technique. When we finish our renovations and I have more space in my studio (yupppi), I will paint with waxes again. I love the encaustic backgrounds for the cards! I will show it to you soon!

Kartka idzie do rak mojej znajomej, ktora jest artystka (www.encaustic.ca), maluje ona woskiem. Bardzo interesujaca technika. Jak sie w koncu uporamy z renowacjami, i wreszcie moje studio sie powiekszy, to znwou zaczne malowac encaustikiem. Uwielbiam wkomponowywac encaustic w moje kartki. Niedlugo Wam pokaze jak to funkcjonuje!

Cappella's premiere-Card Patterns #84

Happy hellos,

I'm officially informing you that the wonderful designer papers from Basic Grey Capella were finally cut! I got them a while ago, but as usual at first I just looked at them, because it was pity to cut such a pretty patterns.

Oficjalnie oglaszam, ze przepiekne papiery Basic Grey Cappella zostaly pociete! Zakupilam je przed 3 miesiacami, ale jakos nie moglam sie przemoc, zeby je pociac, najpierw musialam sobie na nie popatrzec, jak zwykle...

I decided to make a card for Card Patterns #84, using the cute papers. This sketch  is just perfect to display the beauty of the Cappella, don't you think?

Postanowilam z nich zrobic kartke, uczestniczac w wyzwaniu Card Patterns#84. Tym razem ich mapka jest poprostu perfekcyjna, aby pokazac piekno tych papierow, nie uwazacie?

I kept this simple, because the card is meant for someone who loves minimalism and the arabic culture. I hope, I manage to include these 2 apsects in the card. Please let me know in your comments, if that's the case.

Kartke zrobilam minimalistycznie, poniewaz dostanie ja osobka, ktora preferuje ten styl i uwielbia kulture arabska. Mam nadzieje, ze udalo mi sie pokazac te 2 aspekty w tej kartce. Prosze dajcie mi znac w Waszych komentarzach, czy tak jest...

Embellish Magazine challenge and tissue paper background

Hi bloggers,

tonight I have a card to show for the Embellish Magazine Challenge Using Background Stamping.

That was the great opportunity for me to apply the tissue paper technique, which result I love, but always forget to make cards with that. So many techniques and the evening has just few hours.....! Are you agree with me?

On my card I stamped 2 backgrounds: the first one the medallions on the tissue paper and the second one En francais (my fav stamp!) as the background for the fleur-de-lis.
