NEW: Mix media workshop in the best company!

Hello after a while,

today something new! Finally I managed to meet with the Queen of Mix Media from Cape Town: Nolene (www.scrapshots.co.za). She is my good (crafty) friend, who I met through TCR. She started, not time ago, to play with mix media and she is getting better and better day by day! I had to try it out! So one Sunday afternoon Nolene, Fredah (another iinspiring friend of ours) and me sat down in Nolene's studio and she showed us everything (almost!) about mix media! Wow, I am hooked! Through mix media one gets very nice feeling of freedom and there is no boo-boos! So, wath my blog, that's for sure not the last mix media project before I leave South Africa!

Scrap the boys!

Jakob is a synonym for dirt!

Hello,
I just have to enter my 2 favorite layouts for the challenge Scrap the Boys for the month of May:  
"You need to use a photo of your boy(s) getting dirty, this could be anything from mud, paint, dirt, cooking, eating and so on..."

This is totally my Jakob, he is constantly dirty, because he is on mission the all day!

As you can see-that's my boy!!! Love him dirty!!!

White with 1....

....I couldn't be more inspired, when I saw DT's work. So I sat down, unpacked my stuff and made my one White+Cream+Chipboard Layout. And I have to say, I love it!!! I hope, you do too!

Note: the fabulous chipboard elements come from Enmarc Crafts (South African brand!!!)

Simplicity... all I need right now!

Hello my dear bloggers,

this time I made a card, not a LO as usually. I was very inspired by the blog Runaway Inspired Challenge #8 ( McQ by Alexandra McQueen), which design team is doing the most incredible job! What I like about them, is the SIMPLICITY, which I need right now....

Totally inspired by....

...my favorite artist: mariemily and designer papers Basic Grey.

When I saw the post of mariemily, that her LO was scraplifted at Basic Grey blog, I immediately  started to work on my version of her LO. What a great combination for me to create-a pure inspiration. I love her style and Basic Grey papers (in this case BG Cappella). Please take a look:
